The Cycle of Peace Summer Camp combines the joy of cycling with essential life skills in community building, leadership, and conflict resolution. We empower young riders to become champions of peace, both on their bikes and in their neighborhoods.

Ages: 9 – 14 years old (All riding levels welcome!)

Dates: July 13th – July 24th, 2026 (Monday – Friday)

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Extended care available)

Location: Peace Pavilion & Community Trailhead, Chicago, IL

Cost: $250 (Sliding scale & full scholarships available)

🌟 What We Do

Our days are split between two wheels and big ideas. Campers will participate in:

• Daily Trail Rides: Guided group rides tailored to skill level, exploring local bike paths and green spaces.

• Bike Mechanics 101: Hands-on workshops where kids learn to fix flats, adjust brakes, and maintain their own rides.

• Peacebuilding Circles: Interactive, fun team challenges focused on empathy, active listening, and restorative justice concepts.

• Community Art Project: Designing a custom bike-trail mural or accessory to leave a lasting mark of peace.
